Been thinking about this…

In an ideal scenario, you can get by NC State without him, and use FSU to unleash a bunch of new looks with JB wildcat packages/Basic RPO looks so that he’s asked to complete basic reads as a passer. I wholeheartedly believe they are softer than us up front and we could steal a few first downs (maybe a chunk play or two?) from those looks.

But, I feel as if we’re going to have to throw the kitchen sink at NCState.

I would be up for it, especially in a Red Zone package with Jacurri working the Mesh-Option.

But I’d be shocked if he actually takes a snap this season, I think they’re sticking with the plan of redshirting him this season & I then guess seeing what happens next year in the Spring.

One of the things I would love to see is us work with more personnel groupings particularly with the youngsters like Nathaniel, Robby & CJ JR. We need more speed on the field, but it’s obvious they plan on shirting Robby & CJ.

Who’s the CB you’re referring to that gave up all those first downs, @Memnon ?

We struck out on Whale 1 - "Allocate his NIL money to Whale 2"

Then we proceeded to strike out on every single whale.

Mario needs to improve much faster in the portal. Some good acquisitions but a lot of wasted scholarships. FSU is hitting at a higher rate in the portal which some said was not sustainable. Now, it’s paying off in their HS recruiting. I’m not excited for the 2024 class either. Florida’s terrible season last year isn’t getting in the way of their recruiting so we can’t give Mario the 5-7 excuse, which he was responsible for.

We have an NIL problem?
