Post Game Coaches Handshakes

Whether it's Stanford, Syracuse or NC State, the postgame HC handshakes have been interesting. Doeren had a few words for Mario after the game similar to Frank and Fran (although Frank Reich saved most of his comments for Dawson). What could Doeren be upset about? Maybe the deep shot to Ny Carr that Nickel dreadfully under threw? Our backups deserve meaningful snaps regardless whether it's during garbage time.

I'm all for being the villains going forward but these were blowouts so why are the HC coaches so emotional?

I missed the Reich and Dawson thing...what was said?

Not a coach-coach handshake, but the Fran Brown-Mike Irving handshake was something to behhold.

I posted link to NCSU Post-Game PC in another thread and Doeren didn't sound upset at Mario and coaches.
If anything, he praised our guys, said we were talented and he added that UM was the most talented defense they've faced all season (they played ND).
He seemed more upset and frustrated at his team being dominated in the trenches, observing that on every running play his RBs were getting tackled in the backfield.
As for Frank Reich, what did he say?
If (if,if,if) he said anything, he should be reminded that college football is different than NFL.
Style points, running up the score, etc is essential (if that is what he was complaining on).
 
Doren held onto Mario's hand as he tried to walk away and said something more to him. If he's upset we ran it up on him, then get out of P4 football cause that's what's going to happen in a 12 team playoff race.

At least Doren owners getting his *** kicked post game.

Fran is just antics.

If this is a trend, and we beat/whoop Pitt. I will be interested in seeing that handshake between Mario & Narduzzi.

I don't know much about Doeren and NCSU program, but I think in the past he has been somewhat vocal about football stufff. Wears his emotions on his sleeve....etc.
Perhaps he was a little sensitive about the manner in which he got handled and maybe worried how this will affect his QB who is from soFla.
But he was fine in the post game PC, IMO.

All jokes aside, Fran’s mother had him when she was only 13 years old. At that age, that is not consensual. Growing up in Camden, the way he did, and then to make it up to a Power 4 HC is a **** of an achievement. Yeah, he can be a ****, but I also think he has an incredible story.

Imagine if he wasn't a flamng clown show antagonizer? His story might even get an opportunity to be heard. Until I saw your post, I had no idea that little mouthy unachieving instigator had a story. The world needs more stories like the one you're alleging. Tough for those stories to get out when the central character behaves like SideShow Bob or Manny Diaz at a coaches convention where recruits are present.
My tone is not directed at you @caneingville.
