Randy Shannon is a loser. No thanks.
Jim Leavitt, Michael Barrow and Kevin Patrick please with Mike Rumph.
The school will trust Mark Richt to make the choice.
RS is the best DC on that list!

Do you have any YouTube videos of him?I haven't read the thread, but has anyone mentioned Dave Aranda?
Newberg hearing Willie Martinez
Aranda is one of the best in college, imo. He's a 3-4 guy but don't think he runs it the same way Alf does/did.

long time SEC guy, sofla guy, cuban. I get it, but I have heard a wide arrange of opinions of this guy from terrible to "he's pretty good".

That'd be interesting considering Richt is the one who canned him back in '09. I know they played together at Miami. Currently coaching DBs at Tennessee.

Hes had some top 15 Defenses and hes had some horrible seasons.. had NCAA violations just last year and was suspended for it. Not sure how I feel about him. He's a DB coach now so I dont think hes a guy we'd break the bank for. Maybe this is just speculation bc of previous ties and the UM connection obviously.
If he has a playbook, scheme, system, philosophy should a DC job become available. See what he knows and what he can offer. If he can't offer anything, ask him about the DL opening. No harm, no foul.Talk about what?
When Orgeron was "younger", he was doing some shady **** like beating on women. Younger ain't always better, cap'n.Plenty of younger,
Maybe, maybe not. Your word isn't final, and mine isn't either.more qualified, NON-woman beaters that can do the job...no to Orgeron...move on...ain't happenin'.

He got suspended this year for breaking the rules in recruiting. I'd take him.
Richt was forced to hire an oc and be a CEO/marketing tool for uga. Let the man get his people here. He will not disappoint.
Horse Sh*t! He just started to suck at UGA. Stop with the excuses.
Hope he does better here.
richt didn't have a qb ready for this year. it's his fault, but down years happen with pro style offenses. qb recruitment and development is always at a premium for guys who run that type of offense. they can't plug in a converted db or wr and run a power spread.
that said, when a guy like richt has a good qb, they are very successful. uga has had great qbs and good defenses to go with them a few years. during his tenure at uga, lsu, bama, auburn and uf have all had dominant programs. he's played uf, lsu and auburn every year for the last 15 years, not to mention having to play bama in the seccg in 2012. uga would have skull drug nd for the natty. theU and osu edged him out in 2002 and texas/sc played for it in 2005.
i think he can take us to a natty. if he stays for 10 years (he'll be 65), i can see us playing in the acccg about half of those years with a shot to get in the playoffs. we should dominate the coastal like it's the old big east.
You forgot to mention he lost his best player, and possibly the third best player in the SEC, in Chubb. Henry and Fournette are the only two I would say are better. He still went 9-3. If they have Chubb they beat UF and Tennessee- then their only loss is to the number two team in the country and possible National Champion? ****. Some Corch that is.
