Stevenson played on a different level. He turns to look for the ball, and he was the only DB that was on the receivers, and can break passes up. He is also an outstanding tackler and solid punt returner. I love Couch, but Stevenson is CB-1, and it’s not close.

I know it was only one play, but Arroyo looked explosive, twitchy, and wasn’t afraid to put his head down and deal with contact for extra yards on that short route in the flat. Better than anything Mallory has looked like, in fact Arroyo looked like Mallory supposedly looks every offseason.

Point is I want more Arroyo. Double TE sets with all the attention going to Mallory, arroyo could feast.

But Lashlee is a goated O coordinator so he knows what he’s doing

Run D actually isn’t terrible, it’s just inconsistent. We give up too many gashers, and it’s also made worse by the atrocious tackling, where guys pinball for an extra 5-6 yards
