Like how Herbie mentioned Blount and Lightfoot yesterday and how excited he is for their futures. I was ****ed at Mesidor for missing that tackle on that first drive but he was great after that. Been outstanding all year finally healthy.

Mesidor’s a closing speed is fantastic. Look at him any time he is 5-10 feet from a guy and watch how quickly he makes up the distance. That was obvious against UF on the reverse, but he’s been doing it all season.
I watch a lot of animal shows and he and Bain remind me of lions jumping on prey. They even ambush like lions and sometimes chase the prey to their teammate.

He’s had quite a few bad takes, but this is one of his best/worst.

I saw Cole McConathy dressed - I assume he’s getting closer. Would be nice to see if he can be worth a few snaps for the middle and back half of season. Bain and Messidor can’t play that many snap.

This team is gonna have to start relying on some depth going into this run of ACCZ games after this bye week. Everybody including the nine starters needs to hit their peak as the season progresses

To me, this has been the biggest change so far. We went from needing a ton of DL games/stunts and even stemming to get pressure to just lining up (albeit wider, sometimes) and getting it.

Beyond full credit to Bain. With all of the talk of him being near 290 last year and having to force himself to cut weight (think James Williams), I was skeptical he could cut down weight to make himself bend the way he has. He's done it. I don't know if he'll naturally grow into a different spot in the NFL, but we're finally getting someone to be closer to their max while still here at UM.

Really wish Lowe had stayed healthy. I think he could’ve got a few snaps to provide a breather for our big 2. But also sucks not being able to get him the experience for next year
