We dont use the TE a ton like that...we probably need more of a role player, guy who can block, etc.

I would not be surprised if two tight ends were signed, but one will surely be a blocking tight end. Even with the recent success the last seven games you can see Miami missed Cam McCormack.

Lofton is a utility player not a true tight end.

I think they’ll sign someone if they feel he can add to the team even if it’s for competition and depth. Otherwise you’re going to 2026 with no experience at the position. Lofton’s participation notwithstanding.

find a TE better than Bauman, he doesnt have to be fusion of arroyo and McCormick. But if he can block better and be a threat down the seam that’s fine. Lean into the young guys and move Lofton to FB. Lofton can still be used in the passing game as a fb.
