Let Fletcher go to the draft (if he’s healthy), Lyle transfer, move Lofton to RB to pair with Pringle. Hellcat RB3 and Mallory RB4. Maybe sign another HS kid this year. Get a QB, WR, TE, and RG out of the portal. Maybe a C if Rodriguez actually isn’t good enough to beat out Brockermeyer. Bell at LT, open battle at LG and RT with McCoy, Samson, Minaya, and Cantwell. Maybe a 2nd G to raise the competition because LG has been poor this year.

Defensively, the secondary is probably good to go. Hopefully the top 4 corners return plus Poyser, Fitz, Day, and Pruitt at Safety. Maybe need a nickel to replace Scott. DT depends on Moten staying or leaving. Probably need 1 either way, if not 2 to pair with Scott and Simpson. LB should be ok but probably need 1 with Aguirre, Wiley, and Bonner. DE is probably good with Lightfoot, Blount, Lowe, McConathy, Scroggins, Pickett.

Just an arbitrary list of names, some of them being super obvious inevitable departures and probably a couple that he knows about from being in the loop. I wouldn’t read that much into it. I’ll believe that kid is staying at Cal when he lines up there in fall of 2026. They may ante up and pay him plenty, but plenty of schools will be able to match + give him a much better supporting cast. All the respect in the world for the kid if he does stay but I don’t think there is anything wrong with leaving to increase your stock either.
 
Baugh, Coleman, Seaton and maybe Mestemaker I have had Mestemaker on my list to breakdown film.
Right now, I think SiSii is the only OL we have entering the draft and I am questioning Fletcher entering. If Fletch returns, no Baugh. Move Bell to RT and bring in Seaton. Thats just for this list of players. We need several more transfers on O.
 
Just need a Qb really.1 of two possible options:
1. Sellers, big strong athletic guy with rocket arm.Josh Allen vibes,Would kill it here
2. Avery Johnson (Kansas State Wb). Very athletic dynamic Qb who can sling it.

Don’t see need for anything else,but if an elite layer becomes available would try to go after him( JSmithetc)

I def want the young guys to work in, but there have been injuries and we have zero quality TEs playing right now at a grown man position.

I think TE is an underrated factor in making Dawson’s scheme this year look MUCH worse than it has been. For all the “thEy NeEd to UsE the TiGHt EnDs” discourse on the board, from what I’ve seen this year, capable TE in the blocking game is absolutely imperative for Dawson/Mario’s run scheme to work, more than the TE actually needing to get the ball.

This isn’t a Dawson-apologist post. This is just a post saying that, if we are going to play this style, you need your TEs to be top flight in the passing game or top flight in the blocking game, and right now you have neither.
 
Man if we can get Jayden Baugh that can be a game changer in our backfield. It’ll be like having Martinez again but Baugh is probably a bit more athletic.

Wouldn't the most obvious thing to do in your case if Mario wants to lean, is essentially grab Sellers and run the Ravens offense. I mean dam, with a big downhill en, and a QB that can move the defense horizontally and have a slot like Zay but we have Toney. Plus big outside receivers like them, that's the blueprint.

This HAS to be his play right? RIGHT?!

And with the Giants firing Daboll he can't run the offense here.

No Dylan Stewart? uSC is losing Sellers, probably losing Harbor (who Stewart is close with) and Beamer might leave. Yeah uSC is going to throw insane money at him. But he would easily be the #1 player in the portal if he jumps in, and would make way more than they can afford to pay him.

I think Harbor transfers and finally goes home to Maryland. He really fcked up by believing he'd be a good WR.

I completely understand why everyone is so against Sellers. But he's difficult not to like as a person. He's a high character guy who's great in the locker room. He's also a hard worker and has all the potential in the world. Though.. Potential might as well be just another word for risk. He's gonna make somebody look like a genius or an idiot.

Is Lagway going to be heavily sought after? He's looked, uhhh, suspect, it'll be interesting to see what happens.
