Pope Staying

Sorry for exposing my ignorance... Which site is the true barometer as to who is a 5 star and who isn't? Or do we average it out between sites? I noticed that ESPN is pretty conservative as to who they label a 5 star. I've always wondered as I'm not too into recruiting and am really just a casual observer in that regard.

Whichever one strengthens our argument at that particular time.

Was honestly expecting the next AR. At least he can't have a sophomore slump. Hope he balls out with a legit OC

Much better one out of that. I had a feeling that's what you were alluding to. It's a **** of a lot more funny that you didn't know where you were going with it.

I'm a bourbon drinker, myself. And while I do not rotate my corn, I'm not beholden to any one distiller.

That is my personal poison also. Although, we went to Havana this summer and brought back some rum and I find myself drinking more of it now. Rum was my gateway drink decades ago.

A true freshman playing for an offensive circus led by a bumbling ringmaster can only end in failure. If Pope had chosen Bama he would look like the next coming of Amari Cooper/Calvin Ridley, and we'd be making threads crying about how we can't keep elite So Fla talent.
You are 100% correct, Mark Pope got lead down a path where no one had his best interest at heart.

Anyone with any real semblance of a chance and eligibility that stays is an idiot with minimal common sense.

Jarren Williams is an idiot for staying.
Now Pops is an idiot as well.

These kids would be better served elsewhere. Hopefully they’ll get the real adults around them to help them make a better decision.

JJ when preparing for opponent he would take his roster and compare and see if his players could start on there team honestly.

I just took our WR and O-line and did this with a couple Bowl game teams including Gator, Mich, WV and Syracuse and I could NOT zone my opinion see anywhere even first and second teams where our guy could earn playing time with there performance this year to get on the field.

Try it , SAD

Pope's a good kid, just was frustrated with the way things turned out this season.

I know some of you are foaming at the mouth to hate him & send him our the door, but just give him some time with a halfway decent QB he'll prove himself.

Two things he’ll never get here...a half way decent scheme, or a half way decent QB.

His best bet (along with Lingard and Williams) is to leave

Got to. No way every single 4 star/5 star recruit we have signed over the last 5 years sucks. **** near statically impossible so would imagine.
Yeah man and not only that but the perceived behavior of some of these guys, I mean can you blame them? I’m sure we have some weak dudes on this team but it’s such a **** show I can’t blame a kid for not being committed to a POS like Richt and his staph.

We have grown adults that can’t even decide whether to commit to a message board criticizing a teenager playing for the biggest **** up in college football right now.

Let’s use some perspective.

247sports, ESPN and Rivals all produce recruit/recruiting rankings. 247 also produces a composite ranking which serves as a blend of the three major sources' ratings for a player (used to be four including Scout but Rivals purchased Scout). I like the 247 composite but to each their own.
