I think anyone trying to argue that Chip Kelly is a bad coach is an absolute idiot. It's one thing to say he likely wont be fired from the Eagles, or wont leave the NFL this year, or even doesn't fit Miami, and would be better at a place like USC. However, It is just completely idiotic to say he isn't a successful coach. He had extreme success at Oregon, and literally all you're guys' arguments against that success was although he made a BCS bowl every year he was HC, he didn't actually win the National Championships he's been to. How is that not better than literally every available coach right now?
Plust its not like hes done bad in the NFL either! He had two 10 win seasons his first two years. It was a mistake to give him complete control of player personnel, and he's not having such a good year this year.

I can get liking other coaches also, but to say Chip Kelly doesn't have the success to be hired here is totally stupid as ****. You can't use his record as a HC as a good argument why we shouldn't hire him. The only real reason Chip would be a bad hire is if he just doesn't fit well in the city of Miami. Other than that he'd be as good of a hire as you can ask for.

And like I've been saying, Chip Kelly, Hue Jackson, and Butch would ALL be great hires here.

I will not call you any names because I have no idea what you level of education might be and I reserve my insults for equals. If you did earn a Doctorate on or before your 24th birthday, let me know and I will more than happy sling a few at you.

If you're going to attack someone's intelligence make sure no one can question yours. Sounds like that doctorate program you were in didn't care very much about grammar.

Back in my day it was assumed you would always have a secretary. But you are correct, it was much more about thinking and argument and less about grade school stuff. Will admit to weak grammar unless paying close attention, bad spelling regardless, and horrible typing at all times. Then again, this stuff is just entertainment. I promise I try harder at work. Working M&A for a Fortune 50 is a little more demanding than posts on Cane forum -- just not as much fun.

If that does not satisfy your critical sensitivities, take it up with our beloved U. It was Sun Tan U back then, so maybe that explains it.

Yeah..especially when high school kids will know him as the guy that took a giant dump all over the Eagles and couldn't hack it in the League....that should really help him with recruiting. Miami should be all over this guy like a cheap suit.

Anyone who doesnt think Chip would succeed here is an idiot. I dont give a **** if he has failed in the pros. There is no correlation between success in college and success in the pros as a HC.

Saban, Holtz, Carroll, etc. I mean the list goes on and on of coaches who flunked out of the NFL and still found success in college after.
