Only saving grace is the fact he’s an Air Raid guy, so hopefully Mario sticks with that system when hiring the next OC.

Bottom line is his system fits south Florida athletes and is easy for QB’s.

I get that it's the offseason but I don't get grading a hire before the guy starts the job. We desperately need a solid first year from Dawson and to establish an offensive identity that puts pressure on defenses. If he can accomplish that I'd be thrilled

Honestly, the only thing that matters is on-field productivity and recruiting this season. Only time will tell.

I wanted a guy with a set scheme that is verifiably their own to come an implement. Shannan Dawson appears to be little more than a pass game coordinator/ QB coach, cause everyone knows the real mind for that offense is Dana. Real skeptical of this hire

I thought the same thing about lashlee under dykes, and he turned out okay for us. If this guy can actually scheme up some easy or big plays, that’s a huge step

He can definitely change my mind, and he will get extra praise if he can fix our offense. I’m just concerned of bringing in that type of coach after the failure of Gattis, but the path to victory isn’t a smooth one.
