Marginal but getting better each game. With a little luck we could have been 2-1

If Baxa wasnt out there making a fool of himself, this unit would be getting way more heat. Theyve got a long ways to go to get to even Coastal best. Hopefully theyre next seasons most improved unit.
They're already the most improved unit since first game. You can blame them all you want vs uf but they've held it down ever since then.

1. Overall coaching decisions made the oline worse against Florida but even with Campbell they were good enough for the offense to put up more points than it did.

2. Oline was dominant run blocking and above average pass blocking against UNC definitely good enough for the offense to put up more points.

3. dominant against Bethune... shocking.

Overall: The oline was good enough for us to be undefeated right now (3-0). The Head coRch being out coached, The Offensive coordinator being out coached, and the QB not getting it done are the main reasons we are1-2.
What about the Defensive Co-ordinator being out coached?

Might as well throw them all in the bag, right?

Empirical disinterested metrics disagree with you. Per Football Outsiders:

Miami Offensive Line ranks:
- Sack rate: 126/130
- Passing down sack rate: 125/130
- Standard downs sack rate: 122/130
- Stuff Rate: 117/130
- Power Success Rate: 107/130

Why I voted awful (before seeing these stats)... Football has intricacies but this is obviously bad play. Competition has dropped with line play picking up.

Even with two objectively and subjectively bad defensive opponents to pad the stats(one of them was a FCS HBCU), the O Line still ranks in the bottom 4% of every passing metric.

That’s not to say that they can’t or won’t improve.

But there’s a serious misconception around these parts about what we’re watching. Jarren Williams is in the top 30% of most passing metrics. It’s unbelievable what this freshman QB is doing behind one of the worst O Lines we’ve ever had.

There is a lot of trash tossed around, like: “if the OC and QB took care of business, we’d be 3-0.” And that just sounds so stereotypical and lazy to me.

Right now, the offensive coordinator is on a budding/low-tier power 5 level, the Quarterback is on pace to be something in between Very good and a generational talent, and the offensive line would get eaten alive in Florida’s Class 5-A regular season.

I'm not going to argue your point. What I will say is that since the opener where we gave up 10 sacks and for the most part couldn't get out of our own way, this OL has improved significantly and I would expect them to continue improving. Having said that I would also expect some of the rough spots of game 1 to rear their ugly heads from time to time depending on the matchup. Overall I expect this OL to be a much better and greatly improved line by the end of the year.
Williams gave them more sacks by not getting rid of the ball when he could have. Yeah, the line played poorly against UF, but Williams made them look even worse with those extra sacks. I'm just glad they are all getting better.
