Recruiting updates and new Miami QB commit Jarren Williams joins the show.

Pete curious as to why the staff would want Campbell to visit next weekend if he ain’t signing until February?

To get him around the rest of the class.

Makes no sense potentially letting Bama, uga, Ohio State get the last opportunity to see him in January. Would rather him visit us late in January and be the last school to see him. That’s the same for any of our other commits who aren’t signing this month

That was great! Jarren sounds like a great kid and potentially a level headed and poised leader. Hopefully one day real soon we get to see that.

Peter Ariz do you still think we get Campbell?

So there's a chance the Canes lose out on Jobe, Campbell, and Surtain to the $EC? That would hurt

No it makes complete sense. Get them to campus with all the commits so it feels like a family environment for a weekend. Put the full court press on along with 20 other future canes who are locked in.

And furthermore, just cause they used their official to Miami in December doesn't mean they can't come back for unofficial in January. I'm sure Richt will have them come by and see a practice or two to get more "final words" in.

We all have our opinions. If they aren’t signing early they should visit later in the process

Pete always be cutting off these guys when they’re talking lol

Why not pull jobe scholarship don’t let continued to play games. The kid is 20 years old playing against 17 year old

Pull his ship is the dumbest mindset of all the terrible mind sets in this board. If Jobe or any elite prospect at the last second wants in for whatever reason we’re going to let him in lol Same with every school in the country other than Bama, who has that luxury because of the past decade of dominance. I hope we get there one day, but we ain’t there yet.

jarren sniffing so much may be a problem down in coconut grove

Thanks for all of the updates.

The Jarren Williams was especially good. Like you said, he sounds like he's right on top of things from the standpoint of intelligence and maturity. Which is all the more impressive considering his physical tools and abilities as a QB.

I'm convinced that he's a future star. Heisman. National Champion.

Please bump this post when he's starting during the 2018 season.

That last visit BS doesn't apply to all recruits. This isn't Brian Edwards who's impressionable; it depends on the kid. If that were the case, Jarren Williams would've committed to Ohio St. then considering he visited there a week after ours.

You put Campbell with the rest of the class to see how they gel and show him that chemistry won't be an issue.

It would take away his Bama pay raise. As soon as Bama knows he's not holding Miami hostage, his price tag comes down.

I liked the Jarren Williams interview. You want your QB's to be mature, which JW cmae off as much.

Interview matches his film. Sounds and plays VERY smart and mature. As an EE I can see him making a serious push for the starting job.
