Thanks Pete! Got some questions for you and D$: does dj Johnson plays ST this year (kickoff?). How far do YOU think the gap is between shierefs and rosier? Do u see DJ dallas playing wildcat in the RZ as a common thing this year? And lastly, if we have to rely on m.jackson for an extended amount of time, how do u think he'll do?

Why are UM fans always looking for reasons not to be optimistic about upcoming seasons? Any time you guys hear some positive hype you feel the need to try to invent negative scenarios. Yeah if we lose a bunch of key players we won't be as good as D$ thinks. That holds true for EVERYONE else too.

I think the last 15 years is to blame.

If I heard Pete correctly, he was saying despite being a freshman QB operating in the most hostile environment a QB could face, Perry has a better chance beating FSU than Rosier? I respectfully disagree.
We will see how the season unfolds but my money is on Rosier facing FSU in Tallahassee this year.

He also said Rosier and Perry have the same experience since Rosier holds a clipboard. That is wrong considering Rosier has been around the program for three years. He can agrue physical/mental ability but experience is in Rosier favor.

I've been in the Atlantic Ocean for the past week, I get in and listen to DMoney bashing the **** out of Florida and the rest of the college football world - wow that was some savage talk.

DMoney set it straight, it's time to get behind this team and get support these players.

We have the coaching staff, we have the players, we don't have anymore excuses.

No matter what happens this season, we don't have anyone to blame because we have the pieces to make a lot of noise, there's no doubt about that.

I agree with an earlier poster, this upcoming season is reminiscent of 2000. By the end of the season Miami could and should be a Top 5-6 program.

The time is now.

Oh yeah I remember when I heard it I said what? Being in camps for 3 years and being the number 2 guy for a year doesn't give him experience advantage?

mobile QB will fix our o-line. You will be on Searles rod this year. book it. bamas oline couldn't have helped statue kaaya.

We have the pieces and schedule to be top 10. Problem is the most important position on field is a big question mark. Second big question mark is the Oline. Those two question marks can give you some serious headaches if they don't go well and crush your record.

My fiancee went to FSU. She made a bit of a face when she walked into the room and DMoney was on one of his signature rants about the brand illegitimacy of our northern neighbors. I smiled a bit and didn't say another word about it.

We don't have the depth, injuries will happen and there are postions that we can't afford 1 injury

We don't have depth at tight end and that's it. you can probably say that at safety too because it's unproven.
And stop with the bullsh*t that we can't afford 1 injury at a certain postion.... that's the case for every college not named bama or osu lets be real about the situation ....

Is there anything you don't cry about? Our depth (in terms of non-JAG players) 9s actually much better this year than last year.

Besides TE, we're in a pretty good spot across the board.

Obviously it won't be until 2018 when we have championship-level depth, but saying we don't have the depth to win 10 games/the Coastal is just laughable

You should've yelled at her " yeah ....and ? Go make me a sammich"

For those complaining about the QB situation...
...over the last handful of recent seasons I have seen a Redshirt Frosh win a National Championship for F$U, A third string guy who basically had no experience for O$U, and we have seen Bama trot out no names and bums and a tru Frosh while still making it to the playoffs.

I feel confident that whoever wins the starting job for Miami will be fine.

As for injuries and depth, every team on our schedule is not deep and every team on our schedule has concerns for injuries.
They are a part of the game. Next man up.
Enough said.

A little optimistic for me on the national championship front. Especially with the ? a OL. But D$ is hyped like we all should be. 'Canes fans we really need a cornerback mentality, short memory. New season around the corner. We should be packing the stadium and backing our team hard core this year. I know I'm talking smack to all other fans up here in Georgia.
