you like to argue with yourself. No one has said we have Alabama's talent. And pointing at coaching doesn't mean it's all Richt's fault (even though he did hire his assts).
But yes THIS IS mostly on the coaches. We had our entire offense return this year. We lost nothing. While the Oline has never been great and Kaaya has never been Dorsey, that side of the ball has never been this bad. Remember, the offense was our STRENGTH during the Golden years. The offense should at least be the same or better, but somehow they are way worse.
Clearly whatever the coaches are asking them to do they are not able to execute well, so go back to the drawing board. Do what works. Do what worked well last year. It wasnt great, but it was good enough to win games combined with a much improved defense.
And the nonsense that we dont have NC's talent...C'mon son...doesn't that sound vaguely familiar??? Same excuses were made for Golden on defense. Apparently the recruiting rankings were wrong for ALL of our defensive players. And now they're wrong about all of our offensive players??? sorry man... I've seen this movie before. We may not have the depth, but our frontline guys are way better. We've recruited better theres no doubt about that.
