Bama is #4 . Bama is talented............but they loss to a two loss Ole Miss team, who was whipped in those two losses.

Let's talk after Lsu

Alabama is going on the brand right now. Their best win is against an average Ga team with a Va backup at qb. The UT and Ole Miss games is more of what they are.

Clemson also beat ND which the committee has at #6 which would be the win out of any team until LSU and Bama plays, Bama also had 5 TOs against Ole Miss and had some fluke plays that went for TDs and Bama also had the 3rd strength of schedule, while Baylor's was in the 100s and ND is at 14. And to your UF point UF has 2 wins against teams over .500 and Bama has 3, it makes sense

It was cute how they gave Clemson the 1 spot just so they could get away with putting 2 $EC teams in the top 4.

It's really stupid, too, because Bama and LSU will eliminate one another at some point.

This whole thing is just a media snowjob to continually puff up the SEC at every turn. It gets beamed into every household, so people begin to take it for granted and assume that's where they should be ranked, even though judging by actual results, they would struggle to be in the Top 8.

Exactly. I'm also pretty pi$$ed if I'm Michigan State and Dantonio. It's pretty hard to play the strength of schedule card with them like you can with Iowa if we have any awareness at all and even look back at their run starting last season. Aren't we always factoring the past (w/ other nonsense) with mighty Alabamy?

They play this week, one will be knocked out.
 
Funnny Bama is 4th but Baylor and TCU would both drop 50 on them. Chad Kelly went into Tuscaloosa and put up 43 on them. Bama getting by on name, not what they were a few years ago.

At a minimum, they have set it up so The SEC has a locked spot in the playoff. If LSU was the only SEC school in and loses to Bama, it might let two Big 12 or Big 10 schools in. Even the setup sucks... The nation really wants to see an LSU vs Bama rematch? We did that once before and it was lame.
