Manny played it scared. Were in the red zone and should've been pounding on them with big backs and TEs smelling the endzone and going for it FIRST. The field goal would've still been there. Instead he plays it scared and now look. Smmfh.

I agree! We had the momentum. U never play for the FG in the red zone. U always go for the TD & never leave it in the kickers hands

Some stupid macho takes here….you see the same play all the time. You run the clock and kick it there. Throwing into the end zone with a freshman you risk a turnover and you leave them time. The result sucked, but it was the right play. But you all keep acting tough and playing the result.
 
Just another legit reason to fire the AD and Manny! Boneheaded to the max!!

1 and 10 at the 10 with 3 minutes left and you sit on the ball without trying to score a TD? Insane!

You know there are also plays where you can throw to the end zone and it's either a catch or it goes out of bounds.

Especially a true freshman kicker mark it down this game could ruin this kid I’m praying it doesn’t but we’ve seen it happen to kickers before!

We see kickers miss gimmies all the time for a win. You could easily say just as much can go wrong on a fg attempt too, especially when it was last play of the game.

No, you can’t really say that. It’s the the probability of making a 30yd FG vs a turnover, or leaving them time to go down and score (like they did at the end of the first half)

Kickers miss would be game winners all the time, more often than a qb throwing an int to lose the game, I would even wager.
