The ones that came here, put in the work, and chewed the south florida dirt -- by their OWN decision, are the only ones deserving to be considered Canes. It's difficult to put the U -- or even imagine it -- on someone else's helmet, no matter his talent level, if he didn't choose to be part of this U.

As soon as they signed on the line to another school, they relinquished all consideration for the "what-if's", had they signed with the U.
Even in the hypothetical.

Didn't Adrian Peterson and Vince Young like the Canes?

Demar Dorsey (Kid had a Cane attitude but could not get himself together off the field)
Eddie Jackson
Latwan Anderson (We had him for like one practice)
Demarco Murray/Jermaine Gresham (If I remember correctly, they both took visits to Miami)
Alec Ogletree (Richt offered his brother at UGA and Alec's intense love for Miami stopped)

Why even envision it?

It's like picturing your gf (or wife (Canes)) with another dude (insert player here _____) .
If she didn't want me in the beginning, the she gets d big fxck off.
Just doesn't add up.

There seems to be some major confusion here, perhaps because some don't read Chinese too good, or they can only read Chinese, and it's not clear what language the OP is employing, but he seems to be suggesting, if you look at the context of his question, and the use of the phrase "got away," that he is interested in south Florida players who did not become Canes.

For example, Marshall Faulk was not from south Florida as far as I know. Neither was Randy Moss. Now Terry Tate was, but he went straight from high school to the office. He did not play college football. While you can't go from HS straight to pro football, you can go straight from HS to the office. (Personally, I'd prefer to play in the office, because even though the pay is not as good, there's this thing about tackling women and getting a little handful of some sweet stuff. When I was younger, I was always hoping for a game of co-ed touch football.)

Seriously, Habakkuk Baldonado...and his gorgeous mom. Dayum....FAP material.

If not Habakkuk, then Tyroil Wallace. I know he got away, but I'm not sure to where.

Baker Mayfield. Would have beat Pitt and Wisconsin, but not Clemson, and single-handedly would have been worth at least 1 additional touchdown per game. We finish 12-1.
With Baker Mayfield at the helm even if he had lost to Clemson it would’ve been close and we’d have gotten in the playoffs.

Dalvin cook
Ryan shazier
Stedman bailey
Teddy B
Amari cooper

Sad thing is a couple of the guys i listed the coach wanted someone else smh

There are so many, but my only concern for some was the coaching staff that was in place at the time.. I think Coker's staff could've benefitted big time from a lot of player's that could've came to The U, that went elsewhere BUT I wonder how some of those player's would've panned out under Randy Shannon and Al Golden's time as head coaches!! (Under those two, for some it's best they went elsewhere because like others they would've probably got overlooked because they would have probably underachieved under those coach's)
