Somewhat agree also! But, have we gotten a full season from jordan?(not sure). And in this offense our tightends should eat he is nxt man up if jordan can't stay healthy.

I think he makes All ACC this year, he is a tackling machine but like you said he gets lost in coverage at times mentally. I think it all clicks and he makes a huge jump

Greg Rousseau in a sense was your dominant dt on pass rushing downs, he had like 8 sacks on the interior and constantly applied pressure there which isn’t normal for an elite de player to be that productive on the inside.

With that being said it would be great if Ford, silvera, Miller and the young guns take the next step on the inside for sure

Nesta is STRONG, and he was hurt last season. I'm not giving up on him or Pope yet. Pope has the physical tools to be a good WR.

I forgot about that play probably because we lost & he really didn’t do much but catch a tipped pass.
Silvera talks a big game but hasn’t backed it up. I gotta look up his stats I’m sure he doesn’t have many QB pressures or sacks in his tenure.

I'm just not so high on Harris. He should definitely do better under Lashlee than Enos. But his blocking and field awareness left a lot to be desired. We were terrible after Dallas went down. ... If Harris doesn't take a big leap, I'm hoping one of the true Freshmen starts taking away his snaps. And, again, a healthy Robert Burns is my dark horse bet on the offense.

This video just reinforces my thoughts IMO. Phenominal box safety, decent in coverage. For whats its worth, 40% of that tape is against BC. I've rewatched most of the games during quarantine, just saying he got beat in the passing game a lot more than I expected. I think he'll b a leader ths year.

Cam is up to 210 lbs now. He needs to shake the injury or whatever it was that slowed him down last season. I think he does well IF he's healthy in Lashlee's system.

Nesta Silvera- An injury put Silvera behind the curve as a sophomore and he never fully caught up. He struggled using his hands and moving laterally, which is essential at his size. It can’t be all bullrush at this level. The good news is that DTs usually develop later and Nesta was dominant in the first week of spring. Time will tell if that is real improvement or victimizing overmatched interior OL.

Kai-Leon Herbert- Injuries and illness have stunted Herbert’s development. He’s lost valuable practice time, and it showed when he hit the field against Duke. The physical tools are there- his high school testing numbers are comparable to Ezra Cleveland (one of the best OL athletes in the upcoming draft). Herbert rotated with Zion Nelson at RT in spring and the early returns are promising under his third OL coach.

Zach McCloud- My two biggest concerns on defense are replacing Shaq Quarterman and an overall lack of physicality. McCloud can address both. He is a thumper and a physically developed fifth-year player. His instincts and IQ will determine his success. Too often he was late to pull the trigger, which caused his athleticism to play down. He is relatively new to MLB and that position suits him better than striker.

Gurvan Hall- Last year was supposed to the breakout after an outstanding fall camp. While he wasn’t bad (55 tackles, 2 sacks and an INT), he didn’t take the next step. Sheldrick Redwine, Jaquan Johnson and Rayshawn Jenkins didn’t make the leap until their third years or later, which bodes well for Hall if he keeps studying the game under Coach Banda and Ed Reed.

The kid has talent, maybe as much as Brevin.

in regards to Cam Harris I saw a lot of times when he got in open field he chose to run into contact instead of getting HASH NUMBER SIDELINE. He just has poor vision at times. I like burns as well I wouldn’t mind seeing him get more touches he’s fast and physical.
 
It seems like many are being too harsh on those that only started playing. I read someone "having something to prove" as someone giving a legitimate chance and under performed. Giving the offensive cluster f*ck, I'd give Pope a pass. It's on the staff that they blew two years of eligibility on him with little to show for it developmentally.

IMO, the ones that have something to prove are Zach McCloud, Navaughn Donaldson and Ivey.
