Players from class of 2022 now eligible

3rd round money is less than nil money now.. With them raisig the cap they gonna be creaping on 2nd round soon, NFL about to have a problem soon lol

Wasn’t dumb; it was maliciously intentful on the part of the NCAA. They waited for football spring practice to end, NFL draft and UDFAs to happen, basketball transfer portal to be closed, NBA withdrawal date to pass, and for graduations to take place before announcing the change.

Obviously non-revenue sports will be affected by this as well but it’s the revenue makers that the NCAA was focused on.

It was a good rule change that needed to happen but the timing of it was typical NCAA 🐂 💩

Wasn’t this rule meant for those coming in the next class? So now that the class of 2022 is on the verge of getting extra year, what’s to stop class of 23-25 from suing as well for that fifth year?

Do we have anyone that could be impacted by this? Obviously those who would be 1st rd picks would be gone regardless, but I imagine there will be quite a few of our own players that we would like to retain for an extra year if we can be competitive with NIL.

then the ncaa shouldnt have been idiots enacting it without keeping that class in mind- it was literally just one year they had to accomodate to avoid this

its only class of 2022 that didnt get an extra year- all the four classes before them did with the covid year, and every class after them have 5 for 5.

ncaa did this to themselves, easily solvable and preventable- unless you are trying to cause an issue as you tried to negotiate with congress.

Oh I get it. The timing of the ruling was a terdsicle also. Ultimately the NCAA deserves the most and largest fingers pointed at them. What a complete failure of an organization on just about every level.
