Just out of curiosity, what are you basing this on? Did they interview a bunch of players the last couple days?

He's basing it purely on his own bias against Jethro. He's trying to create false hope for himself to get lathered up about the 2015 season. Jethro was holding Folden back.

on social media jelani, shayon, d jax, etc are all saying almost celebrating because they think he will get it.

A) How do you know Golden didn't "go to bat" for Franklin?
B) Franklin is going home, closer to family, to work in the NFL for considerably more money.

Consider those factors plus the factor that Golden is on the hot seat this upcoming season, and
there was probably no way Franklin was sticking around.

nfl is an good ole boys club. how many coaches that have lost everywhere they went get good job over and over.

So is anyone surprised that this is the team/coach who hires Jethro? This move doesn't prove anything about Jethro's competence or coaching ability, actually it says a lot more about the organization and people who hired him.

Oakland/Jack Del Rio are a joke. JDR was a mediocre coach in Jacksonville and I'm surprised no one has pointed out the lousy job he did with a Denver defense that was loaded with talent across the board. He runs a completely bland/vanilla defensive system like Grohlden with 0 disguised alignments or pressure calls. Just 4-man rush with cover 2 or 2-man over top and it's no surprise they were shredded by good teams. JDR is a HC again because he's a retread with connections, and Jethro got his job because of connections. This is the same team that hired Art Shell twice & promoted Dennis Allen because he got the team to try hard as interim HC. Skill in general has very little to do with the Oakland Raiders and you'll all see that play out when McKenzie, JDR & staff are all ****canned within a couple years. Look for that Oakland defense to regress big time, it kinda makes me feel bad for Khalil Mack.

He came into UM handcuffed by sanctions and he'll leave UM handcuffed by a fanbase that wants his head. UM fans will never learn.

I remember getting negged to Bolivian for saying "If they can get around the block and to the ball carrier, why not let them?"

Franklin offered very little in recruiting but agree that the main issue was, is, and will continue to be Al Golden and his scheme. Until that changes little will change on defense.
