Player development article, U checks in @ #6…

New article for 2022 has Miami at #10 and surprisingly....VT at #1. Limited sample size though.

"Finally, Florida and Miami are long-time staples of the top 10 in these rankings. That’s because they recruit elite players and some of them will eventually make it to the NFL. It also shows those two programs aren’t that far away; remember Florida nearly reached the playoff in 2020 while Miami ranked second in the CFB Playoff rankings entering the final week of the 2017 regular season. We’ll see if first-year coaches Billy Napier and Mario Cristobal can lift already talented rosters into contention."

Who are the underachievers? Little brother up north is right there.

Oh and Texas A&M is 27th......

T84U sucks ***; always have. Mofos last won a Nat’l Title 8 yrs after the birth of TV, the other previous Nat’l titles have been “retroactively” awarded to them, meaning they weren’t recognized as the original champions in fckin 1919 or 1927! Haven’t won a conference, let alone division since 1998, but let these *** hole tell it, they r a blue blood & a developer of talent b/c of Garrett & Evans.

Anyways, imma need better sample sizes than what’s put out. U can’t have VT up there when they’ve only had 10 247 guys. Lol.

The only reason Texas 8&4 is being talked about at all is because the amount of money they have and spend, they are in the sEc!, and they beat Bama.

The main reason they are so hyped is because they beat the most beatable Bama team in the past decade. Never has a program ever done less with more like they have.

aTm is going to offer the writer of these articles and NIL package so he’ll move them up the list next year.

No, they’re being talked about like this because Jimbo has done the one thing you must do to win big in this sport: stack multiple elite classes. Same thing he did at FSU. Doesn’t mean they’ll win, but there is one singular absolute prerequisite to winning national championships and it’s multiple top 5 classes. Jimbo has done it. That puts them into the conversation. The teams who have not done that are not in the conversation. That’s where the hype is from. Them winning a national championship in the 40s or whatever couldn’t be more irrelevant.

I don’t think Jimbo is a particularly good football coach. But this time of year, you can point with about 99.9% certainty which teams are capable of winning a natty the upcoming fall. A&M is on that short list.
