Kayaa had Njoku open and threw it to Herndon who was covered on that pick. Cant blame the line there.

My question on that play is why were the two TEs so incredibly close to each other on those routes. Someone ran the wrong one, because there's no way that was designed. However, Kaaya threw it to the wrong guy, which is on him. That said, I don't get why Richt doesn't ride Kaaya's hot hand. Go tempo, max protect, and let Kaaya make simple throws on man coverage.

Whether you agree with it or not (and I'm not saying I agree with it) the running on 3rd and 15+ is meant to gain field position for the punt. It's not actually meant to convert the third down. Va Tech has now done it twice. We're far from the only team to do this.
