Defensive fronts for both Pitt and UNC will be a good test for us leading up to ND. Would love to see the line start to gel
After what I saw on the field last night I’m worried about every game we have left…maybe not BC..but besides themNot worried about this game.
I have mild caution about UNC
I remember their QB started the game with 13 completions on 13 attempts. You should be. Remember during the 2017 season when Virginia came in a week after the ND game and ran all over our secondary? We had to come from behind.
I don’t like this at all.
You make a good point brother. The crowd and team should be ready from the jump because of the festivities. We are honoring our last title team while at the same team being ranked #1 since 2002. Combine all that with an FSU wake up call, zero reasons to come out flatThis game is honoring our beloved 01 Canes so I hope attendance and energy is better than your average noon kick off against Pitt, right? And we’ll be wearing the adidas throwbacks + we’re #1 for the first time in 24 years?
I hope those factors mean we won’t come out sluggish, but who knows.
Pitt destroyed our last undefeated season with a #2 ranking (2017), I pray to god we don’t let them hang around to ruin this.
Agreed Mensah had good numbers for the whole game. But everybody now expecting a 90% completion rate. He did force a couple and just had a few bad throws. Listen to the ex QB's that announce the games. What Mensah was doing is hard to do against air let alone in a real game. His numbers had to come down against better teams. What’s crazy is the game Mensah had last night would have been considered elite by Miami standards from 2003-2023
I really hope that’s not true. Thought we played a terrible game. It wasn’t unlucky or ‘whoops TOs.’ We got beaten in multiple areas for reasons that follow teams into subsequent games.Which is why, deep inside, Mario probably loved the way the FSU game played out.
