Louisville crushed it with that formula under StrongPitt, Kentucky, Louisville and Indiana always seem to recruit the under the radar kids from south Florida along with Minnesota.
Once again, class ranking is not indicative of evaluation ability. If their class ranking is 50 but they get top 30 or 40 results, that means they're doing a good job of evaluating potential recruits. If they underperform, then they're not doing a good job of evaluating talent. I have no idea whether or not Pitts staff had any kind of ability to evaluate. You'd have to wait a few years to make that judgment.Okay?
Their class ranked in the 50's and they signed a bunch of kids nobody in college football with a pulse wanted.
Either everybody else is wrong and they are right, meaning they are amazinggggg evaluators of talent, or the class actually does belong in the 50s and sucks.
good call... Indiana is the odd one... they did as did Louisville.. Louisville is taking anyone with a pulse this cycle.Pitt, Kentucky, Louisville and Indiana always seem to recruit the under the radar kids from south Florida along with Minnesota.

Rutgers used to make a killing with second tier south Florida kids that the big three didn’t want. Shiano would put a billboard on 95 every year with all the Florida kids they had.
But they were also beating low ranked classes with those players.
It’s a lot easier to sign the 55th-ish ranked class and beat a bunch of schools that also had the 55th-ish ranked class.
That’s not what we are talking about with Pitt here. People are worried they are going to take these third tier FL players that most every program with a pulse passed on, and beat teams that significantly outrecruited them in the rankings because these players are actually really good apparently.
There are very few examples of that because usually, the 50something ranked class has that ranking for a reason.
So again...Is this all Partridge? Does anyone know?
