So...if Pitt is out, then Boston College. Or maybe the vacancy of the MAC school the new Pitt/BC coach left open.

I'm grasping at straws here. Hoping for a Christmas miracle.

Youngstown State is out, Pellini took job today. 9 wins a year, thrown out at Nebraska and went to Youngstown, Golden should take note.
Ain't that the school Tressel is the AD at? ****. I think that's a good move by Pelini, get out the firing line and less pressure for a while then see what opens up in a few years, maybe LSU can Miles. Golden should coach Don Basco

What makes you think Don Basco would hire Al. That is a top end program that likes winning. No body is going to hire Al as HC. Winning at Miami does not mean you can win anywhere else; losing at Miami does mean you can't win any place.

Whenever our stupid *** BOT decide to fire Golden his head coaching career is done. He'll be lucky to get another coordinator position.

All he had to do (IMO) was win 2 games and he probably would have been hired away. My God that man is a loser of epic proportions.

All Fat ****** needed to do was win the last two games and we would have been rid of him. He is too much of a loser to do that. He was exposed more than a stripper's pookyak and no one wants him...except UM. Madonna!

This is the most dysfunctional athletic department in the country. Bar-none.

No school has even called this piece of **** to gauge his interest because he's such a ******* loser and everyone knows it.

Everyone except our idiot administration and BOT. **** this is so frustrating.

THIS. The way the team keeps getting gashed even when the talent difference is in our favor shows ineptitude. Possibly going into his last year, he will have excuses though. "Young talent at LB, Lost 2 All-Americans, a one of the best RB's in the country, we're young, guys fought their tails off but it all starts with me etc..."

Some smaller scale team from up north will hire him in some capacity because he may be an upgrade from what they have now. Not even as good as Pelini, but has experience that a lot of coaches in those smaller schools don't have and he will talk himself into a gig using the "I didn't have enough time" excuse.

Pitt fans saying if they hire the Miami coach it would be a catastrophic disaster. Let that sink in.

This. He won't even get a special teams gig, considering the disaster he's overseen here.

And the insult to injury is that he could have hidden many of his special teams coaching blunders by pushing hard for Isaiah McKenzie. That S. Fla. stud is so dynamic that he could have made big returns out of nothing - like Duke Johnson does out of the backfield. But, inexplicably, Golden didn't recruit the kid hard at all.

He didn't offer McKenzie, so it doesn't matter how hard he recruited him.
