It’s because they coaches are weak and don’t want the potential criticism. You think a lot of these guys wouldn’t go to practice and just say WTF.

But they definitely wanted them back for Paradise Camp to help recruit . We have hypocrites in the building.

I think that the lazy *** people around the program play to the older letterwinners, hence why Randy Shannon was hired, hence why an obviously over the hill Mark Richt was hired, hence why guys like Schiano and Butch continue to be candidates, even though they wouldn't be candidates for any major job in the country.

It's easy to sell crap like that, by playing the "Miami Bro" card, although most of us know it's crap. That said, the letterwinners that are highly intelligent and well traveled don't buy this crap and those are the ones that are ignored(Alonzo Highsmith is chief among them).
