Phins vs Bills

Agree. Could use those timeouts. But still McD called a play that got Hill wide open and Thompson missed it.
Agree.

But the QB is a rookie that isn’t very good.

Misreads and missed throws are going to happen.

The clock management stuff has been awful. 95% of it on the coaches.

Clock management was atrocious all game as well as 3rd and 19 and putting a rookie QB in position to throw a game changing pick.

The latter was a big mistake. But McDaniels didn't try to call a safe game and almost pulled the upset. I thought Fins would lose by 4 TDs without Tua and Mostert. His WRs also dropped some beautiful throws by Thompson.

We’re in good hands with McDaniel.

Josh Allen ain’t in the same tier as Mahomes, lower than Burrow. Mistakes are too abundant.

False starts and timeouts to avoid them are communication problems that shouldn't be happening at the end of the season. The fact that the 3rd string QB is starting might have something to do with that.

For sure. Can’t really argue that. I’m just sticking up for McD a bit in anticipation of the McD sucks crowd trashing him as a moron. Miami had no business being in that game.

Hill was wide open on the 4th down, Romo knew he would be before the ball was snapped, and it looked like Skylar’s first read. He’s got to throw that. Game on the line you have to. McD called a pretty good game. He’s got some stuff to clean up for sure but as a rookie head coach I think he showed some promise.

Yup. No other way to even be in the game besides putting trust in his his 3rd string QB to air it out. Not going to win by trying to control TOP. Thompson missed some key reads and took too long to snap the ball. Even with that, @Memnon is right, Bills got some homecooking that saved the game for them.

Game was definitely closer than I thought it would be. Just another year of mediocrity for my fave pro and college teams. Go Canes and Fins. I would say, "maybe next year, " but I've been saying that for how many years now 🤔 🔄

I hope rumors are true and Fins try to sign Brady to a 1 or 2 year deal. I think they have a small window of opportunity with Hill and Waddle. Yes, he's old but now he's got divorced middle aged guy energy. Tua is going to have severe brain damage if he keeps playing and they shouldnt resign him for both their sakes.
