PFF - “This Miami DL is the best UNIT in CFB.”

I don’t recall hearing the announcers calling any of our CBs names all game. They were invisible. Which is the best compliment at DB can get.

It might be the first time I have experienced this since watching football
Gagway doesnt throw that far down the field

I've been following this program since forever, and I don't recall a more dominant group than we have now. The depth is really impressive.

If you remove the lone TD drive they had 80 yards of offense the entire game...com'on you can't expect that against a FBS team much less an SEC team.
Then you haven’t followed long enough
This D looks good so far and I love it
But
Late 80s early 90s take the cake
With Medaris and Patrick
Lang and Holmes
Cortez Kennedy R Maryland at
dT
Then Sapp

If they win a natty then YES
We will learn everything we need to know into weeks
It’s one thing to do it at Hard Rock

I want to see this Defense Travel!!! And beat the holy **** out of FSU!!!!!

I think Damari blitzed on the first play of the game.

That was the last play I remember a CB making.

Florida had the 3rd best pass blocking grade in college. In this game it was 2.3 Which is the worst grade ever by more than 20 points.

I might be mistaken but I think they meant it was UFs worst grade ever. They followed that by saying Kansas had the worst ever in 2020 vs Oklahoma (?), graded out at something like a 0.3. Regardless, Miamis DL made a good OL look like it belonged to a high school team.

Did any DT other than Blay and Moten play a snap last night, aside from Blount/Bain/Mesidor kicking inside on some 3rd downs?

@Calinative you got the snap counts?

Nvm Scott was in on the Gators 4th drive
I'll post it fully later, but really there wasn't a ton of snaps regardless. Remember entire 1st half they had like 1 first down, and they converted 0/13 on 3rd. Plus next week is a bye.

Moten - 37 snaps
Blay - 29 snaps
Blount - 18 snaps (15 at DT)
Justin Scott - 6 snaps

Bain - 52 snaps
Mesidor - 52 snaps
Lightfoot - 14 snaps

Last week Blay played 41 snaps, Moten played 40, and Scott played 29.

Don't try to insult me because you have a different opinion. As I said, depth...

The 89 team had Cortez Kennedy (Sr) and Russell Maryland (Jr). Respectively 3rd and 1st pick in 90 and 91 draft. WTF!
