“Florida entered Saturday nights matchup with the 3rd best pass blocking grade according to PFF.”

“Miami made Florida have the worst pass blocking grade in the history off PFF by over 24 points.”

“Miami got a pressure on 79% of dropbacks…with a 93% pass rush win rate.”

“This Miami DL is the best UNIT in CFB.”

“Miami is the most dominant team in America in the trenches”

DOMINANT.

Yeah heard on the podcast with D$ that their PFF grade was like a 2.3 out of 100 😝

Miami had it's highest pressure rate of the season against the Gators, 58% of Lagway's dropbacks were pressured. We had 4 sacks and I forget the TFL #. ND's OL had the worst PFF grade for a P4 team in week 1. Their T's graded 10 and 12 against Bain and Mesidor. UF's OL just had what, like a 2.4 total PFF grade? This DL is playing great and it is not the best DL we have ever had.
Setting the edge and perimeters is everything in this game on D. Their will be busts, but they won't get half of their 628 yards per game average against us.

I've been following this program since forever, and I don't recall a more dominant group than we have now. The depth is really impressive.

If you remove the lone TD drive they had 80 yards of offense the entire game...com'on you can't expect that against a FBS team much less an SEC team.
No need to remove it, it’s part of the game. The defense played great and kept us in the game

I am guessing Scott got 6 snaps after coaches saw the tape of his sorry no effort in consecutive plays late against USF when I was screaming to get him off the field. You can't have that.

Expecting 15-25

Why is Justin scott not making a better impact at DT? He only had 6 snaps at DT last night. What is going on? Is he still developing or the light hasnt come on yet? Or is our DL depth better than we expected? Thanks.

Limited number of snaps. Only one long drive limited rotations. Last week vs USF, they only drove against the 2s so clearly close games mean less snaps for the 2s. Expecting those numbers to jump a bunch in the back 7 of the schedule

People were crowning him the starter ahead of Moten and Blay because of his 5 stars. He has yet to show he's anything more than a rotational player. Super disappointing so far. But I know it's in him. Took Pancake 3 years, Lightfoot and Blount only flashing now. He'll get there if he puts in the effort. DT brains are built different though. Needs to have the will and discipline.

Other than the one drive? 10 drives, 61 yards. Un-freaking-real.

Then you haven’t followed long enough
This D looks good so far and I love it
But
Late 80s early 90s take the cake
With Medaris and Patrick
Lang and Holmes
Cortez Kennedy R Maryland at
dT
Then Sapp

If they win a natty then YES
We will learn everything we need to know into weeks
It’s one thing to do it at Hard Rock

I want to see this Defense Travel!!! And beat the holy **** out of FSU!!!!!
FSU will cause some problems with their movement. However, I expect our DL to cause far more problems by blowing them up in the backfield before they can get going.

Can Damione Lewis get a little love too? Seems like people have forgotten he was hired before this season. Taylor has been here a little while and our line has never been this good until now.
Yes The DT's are playing very good also. But were talking about the DE's and this is JT's guys.
