Peter Ariz's Post-Practice Thoughts #9

Is Ruskavich on scholly? Got some snaps last year.

Sounds like an eventful day for Jordan Campbell.

A little confusing to me who we recruited to play edge on this team if everyone is projecting as a 3 tech? Obviously J Taylor deserves benefit of doubt but we'll see if ultimately there is only a small drop-off between last year's monsters.

I think it'll be by committee. Lofton will get looks, Mueller will get looks, Gilbert will be first up. Would love to get 700 yards and 7 or 8 TDs from that group collectively.

Doubtful. In 25, Lofton got 218 / 3 TDs, Bauman 166 / 1 TD, Gilbert 37 and Schott 24 0 TDs. And I doubt all of Lofton's yards were from the TE or split end position.

I'd rather go with 4 or 5 WRs TBH.

Briggs has Superstar written all over him.

He's the next in line to continue on the legacy of TEU at Miami.

Eli Stowers caliber talent.
100% Agree. He was actually rated pretty high but seemed slept on by our fan base which was crazy based on his film. So much talk about his weight but dude is half poly, has the frame and came from a less than ideal situation. Watch, by his 2nd or 3rd year all that talk about being nothing more than a "big WR" is going to be out the door. He will be a legit TE
