Lane Kiffin - Is Pete nuts? He should just report and leave opinions out.

If hired, Kiffin is the only coach where I would throw in my Cane fandom and quit College Football all-together.

Pete is a young guy whose football knowledge is not that deep, so I will cut him some slack.
 
Pete's a recrutiing guy. Loves the recruiting scene. So he wants a "recruiter." Pete will realize a "Recruiter" is a eupheism for "****** head coach" eventually.

But just to show how much Cristobal sucks, I'd take Kiffin in a heartbeat if it was down to the two of them.

If Kiffin gets it, we ride the train to it's glorious explosion. At least it will be fun.

If Mario gets it, we destroy it before it even starts.
 
Remember when HC Lane Kiffin took that team with little to no talent from the depths mediocrity to a national title?
 
Kiffin failed at Tennessee (ok, left early, but still). Then failed at USC where they have a rich recruiting area in their backyard, all of the resources, and at the time were a relatively easy conference outside of Stanford and Oregon while he was there. He still lost some baffling game and although he recruited very well, he didn't get the best out of his talent. Man, that sounds really familiar.
