Perry better be the starter next year

I hate to be that guy but be prepared that perry - a RSFR - is not the guy. Sit on that for a sec.
if he's not ready as a RFR then he's not the guy to take us to where we want to go. I'm sure he'll be better than Rosier but if he isn't ready then he aint the guy.

Rosier is a quality backup. Good shape next year with Perry starting, Rosier backing up, Williams with RS, and Weldon running practice squad.

Will not matter as long as the guy calling the plays is named Mark richt

Lmao what did you expect from richt tho ? I don't think it's richt fault at all. Do you know how simple it is for a DC to shut down Malik ? Tell me what your brilliant Game plan on offense would have been ?

Rosier overachieved this year which was awesome but let's be real ...

Pros:
Runs pretty well
Tough
Doesn't fumble

Cons:
woefully inaccurate - even on completions there usually little YAC b/c of the ball placement
throws a terrible deep ball
short and gets a ton of passes batted down
doesn't run through progressions
jheri-curl hair is whack

Kaaya was the issue last year because he couldn't run. Rosier is the issue this year because he's inaccurate. Perry will be the issue next year because he's skinny and inexperienced.

My wife just asked me after seeing the game tonight "who's going to QB the OB game". I wish I had an optimistic answer when we will face Bama or OSU. Fvck... we need to score bad!

from what you listed he would be a perfect fit at gt

Not trying to overlook the horrible play tonight, but I take solace in the fact that we are Coastal Champs for the first time, played for a conference ship for the first time, and have top 10 recruiting class coming in next year. Most of all, yes, most of all, we have a coach who’s been there. Imagine if we still had AG/DiNoFries, this team would have been 7-5 and “Trust the process” for an excuse.

I also remember the growing pains before our 1st NC with schnelly, when there were many heartbreaking games, but finally hit the jackpot. In this day and age of instant gratification, it is easy to dis a coach with the calm demeanor of CMR who underneath, is a student of the game, a patient nurturer of our student athletes, is building back our program brick by brick, and bleeds orange and green.

We all need to chill and watch this program improve every year. I feel it will take us to 2019 before we resemble the team that beat us tonight. Sure we’ll be much better next year, but real and stable growth takes time, growth we have postponed through no fault of ours, but **** that just happened with That midget Shapiro and the sanctions. We are now free and on the upward trajectory. So be patient and savor the progress so far.

This, although we might surprise next year.

This. I think it bothers fans that he is calm and quiet on the outside. They mistake that for having no fire - or lacking intensity.

He’ll be plenty ready next year.

Mistake? Dadgum guy kicked a field goal on 4th and inches while down by 38.

No Balls.

Yes, we absolutely may, given what we did with salvaged spare parts this year.

Would four more points have made any difference?

Rosier is inaccurate and certainly hurts anything you want to do.

That still doesn't excuse throwing down the field to a bunch of smurfs who are smaller than the corners covering them, rather than say our receivers that have some size. All of the crap called behind the line of scrimmage against a team like Clemson is maddening. They close too quickly and have size / strength to get off of blocks. Those plays work against a slow footed defense, but against fast teams you are already losing ground.

This offense sucks. It doesn't even factor in what out players bring to the table.
