Although I can't and won't pull against my Canes. If we have another bad season and Golden is gone there is only one candidate that will get us back. It's not Butch, his time has passed. Let's all hope that the Eagles and Chip Kelly's plan blows up and they go 3-13. Out goes Golden and in comes Kelly. South Florida Talent + Chip Kelly = Top Program. Its a dream but if it happened ****!!!

I think he will be available. It's gonna take at least $4 million per year. Will UM do it?

Guaranteed 8-9 win seasons, with very good chances to go undefeated every year.

No brainer!

UM has the money to hire just about anyone it wants.

UM lacks the will to win, however. And that's why Chip Kelly would never be hired here.

Come on its UM, they want the next up and comer been doing it for years, they have the money for a big name they just dont want to spend, the problem with their strategy is you might get a golden

I would take him in a heartbeat.

And so will every other power conference team that wants to win.
Money talks.

I believe it was NVA that brought this up, but Miami may be the only premier job opening this off season. Everyone else in the Power 5 don't seem likely to have upcoming openings.

In the ACC FSU and Clemson are solid. GT will continue to overachieve for their standards and Johnson will be there forever because of it. Maybe UNC, but no coach is choosing UNC over Miami if the money is equal. Big if. Beamer will die on the sidelines and Foster is HCIW.

The B1G has Urbs, Harbaugh, D'Antonio and Franklin firmly entrenched in their coaching positions.

The SEC's top gigs are all settled for now.

And the PAC12 is solid as well.

We should have the pick of the coaching options this offseason if the ******* BoT does what needs to be done.

I agree with this for the most part. However, I'm watching LSU closely, Les Mils has an 8-9 win season, he may be done over there. They've had a lot of turnover, particularly on the D-line. Plus, I want to see what he does without Chavis as his D-coordinator.

Chip Kelly has gone 10-6 in his first two seasons as coach of the Eagles. Unless he completely tanks this upcoming season he will not be leaving the head coach position.

Only monkey wrench in that scenario is one of the big programs you mentioned losing a HC to the NFL.

Chip Kelly at UM? We'd score 100 points per game.

Lol at Butch's time passed like he suddenly forgot how to coach and be the best roster builder and developer in the game in 5 years.

Chip Kelly?

The coach who was given an 18-month show cause?

The coach under whom the NCAA gave Oregon 3 years of probation? Where the NCAA gave Oregon scholarship reductions?

Yeah, Butch is a saint compared to Chip. Chip was found guilty. Butch was found innocent.

We shouldn't act like were any better than him because he got in trouble, **** we got in trouble too. Coaches could say stay away from Miami because we broke NCAA rules and are on probation also

Problem is, Jeffery Loria is a secret BOT member

He is actually on some Trustee/Director board for Cardozo Law school at Yeshiva University in NEW YORK.

The only thing that Jeffery Loria has in common with the UM Board of Trustees members is that Loria and many BOT members are from the north east areas like New York. They come into Florida thinking they are more savvy and smarter than Floridians.

Their MO is all about profits and promoting that air of superiority to the detriments of Floridians. They don't embrace the culture; they exploit it and typically ignore when they can't see an ROI. Thus, this BOT chasing after dollars and profits of UHealth and UM while ignoring the local Football scene and its demanding fans seeking.... They morph this superiority complex into transforming UM into some top academic college with prestige of an Ivy League education, but an Ivy in the South.

That prestige would be conflicted by a notorious return to the old glory days of UM Football Championship-competing years and its aggressive players with too much testosterone. Yet, a BOT-fostered average UM team still brings in (their bottom line) consistently good returns & & profits with an ever increasing pie from its conference.

Meddlesome owner Loria also thinks that he is smarter than actual Baseball people and interferes with club decisions, but not as much as UM BOT virtually runs the Athletic dept imposing their mantra of "We have to win the right way" with North Easterner Al Golden leading the field hands, buoyed by his eloquent pubic speaking prowess,

That is a capsule in what Loria has in common with UM BOT. still think a secret member...sound more like some Illuminati shayt

Wow Illuminati no less. Just cause you're paranoid, it doesn't mean "they're" not out to get you?
