Yeah just saw that.

We really don’t need to recruit a QB this cycle though

Perry looks good, but is he the QB to lead us to where we want to be? Time will tell. Cade cannot keep out of trouble apparently, and Williams was just suspended, and somewhere on this board it was mentioned he may want to transfer.

Best case seems to be Perry and Williams, with Weldon not being dependable. Worst case is Perry with Weldon and WIlliams moving on for two different reasons.

I think it would be wise to bring in a freshman QB, and shame of Richt for putting all of his eggs in one basket, but that is apparently the recruiting strategy of this staff based on what I read here.

If we have a good game this weekend while running our 3-4 receiver sets then I think that will say a lot and really have our staff reevaluate what is best for the future. I sure hope we play well. It can have a positive end to the season, improve our chances for a better bowl and hopefully get a chance to beat a Big ten or SEC team.

I honestly believe no one in his right mind would send his kid to learn from Jon

Word is out on Jon

QB has by far the lowest success rate on evaluations. You take a QB in every cycle. Even if it's someone that doesn't start until year 3. I find it hard to believe that all 3 of Perry/Weldon/Williams are going to be on campus. So if you're left with 2 QBs on scholly and one gets injured, you're in a pretty bad way. And the chances are higher given the OL we have.

Even dabo swinney qb evaluations have been bad, just think about it he’s only hit on 3 throughout his time at Clemson tahj Boyd, Watson and Lawrence and they have brought in multiple 4 star or higher qbs in that time frame

Evaluations aside we don’t even know what we have because the QB coaching is so bad. We don’t necessarily need a superstar QB to win we just need a competent QB to win!

Yup. Dabo's lucky that he's hit on a QB in transitioning cycles (meaning there hasn't been a gap between the 3 you've mentioned). That's why it's irritating to hear people say we're fine at passing on a QB this cycle; we're absolutely not. We don't even know if any of the 3 we have right now are going to even be better than Boyd once they've had a chance to prove themselves respectively.

We got to do something but I’m not that high on a lot of the qbs in this class tbh. I like Spencer rattler but he’s going to Oklahoma. I thought we should have tried to recruit the Cali qb Jayden Daniels but i don’t know what we are doing

I think this is a daily theme with the staff.

Keep recruiting a QB until you find one, then keep recruiting QBs every year until you find the next one.

Someone is going to transfer leaving us with only 2 QBs.

Three QB's plenty, do not really need the transfer 1 year guy. Several schools operating with 2 QB's this year.
How many of them have a starter who's 105lbs soaking wet & likes to run cause he thinks hes mike vick on & off the field & the second qb just cant decide how much football really matters to him to put it nicely... if you dont think this is gross miss management I'm curious what it would take to get you to realize that...

We finished 0-3 idiot! Lost to PITT embarrassed by Wisconsin at home and then anihhilated by Clemson in the championship game and didn’t loose a single commitment! ****head
The one thing I'd have to point out to you which yes the staff does have something to do with but not much,is this 18 group had plenty of leaders in it. They had the typical group chat going among all of them but far more importantly they all vibes together. Theyd talk outside of the texts, tweets etc. Whenever any of them would be in town theyd hang out & most importantly they all held each other accountable. After the ****kowski debacle they all recruited for us & when one wavered they got it right in house. That's not credit the staff should be getting. That's kids that were committed.

And those relationships are why they have been sticking up for each other recently...

Just gonna say I STRONGLY disagree here especially if you're comparing his evals to ours... not same vicinity, especially when evals is regarding who theyve recruited not just who's committed. Might wanna look into that a lil more brother.

Idk how you came to this conclusion. Chase Bryce is better than anyone we have and jury is still out on 5 Star Hunter Johnson. He got stuck behind Watson. He could very well turn out to be the stud everyone thought he was coming out of high school
