I am fully in the camp of you have to take a QB every cycle. They're very difficult to hit correctly, and they transfer a lot.
HOWEVER.....if you look at it, next year we'll have 2 redshirt sophomores and a redshirt freshman. I think they are fully confident they can get one of the big targets in 2020. So the more I look at this, I really don't think it's the end of the world not taking a QB.
That could easily come to bite them in the *** if someone gets upset and leaves (say, Williams) and then 1 of the other 2 are terrible (say, Weldon).
Then you're left with an unproven Perry, a terrible Weldon, and nothing else. But that's all hypothetical. Right now, on paper, it's not the end of the world not taking a QB in this class, especially when you consider this is the worst QB class in a long time.
I'm still trying to take one if I'm the staff, but I don't think it's a complete epic fail if they don't. But you MUST keep and develop the 3 you have. At least for another year.
