Miami is zeroing in on Charlie Strong despite his conflicting reports that he wants to stay at Texas according to his "well placed" source. They feel that he wants out of UT and want to wait to see if UT would fire him. Stated that if they (Miami) feel that if they don't get him, then VT will.

If Miami is waiting to see if this comes to fruition, then F this search committee. Putting all their eggs in one basket is beyond stupid. Play the wait and see game and in the interim, coaches like Herman, Fuentes, and Rich Rod are being wooed by other teams.

I really don't think Strong is the answer here. I hope Miami is looking in another direction. Strong has failed miserably at Texas so far and really needs to take a step back before getting another crack at a school like Miami.

Mods how do I make a poll? Also, if you are against Strong, time to do what we did with Golden. Flood social media and emails. We simply CANNOT hire this failure. I won't be able to take it.

There's also no way Strong isn't fueling these rumours.

I told you guys in my last post, the only inside info I've ever had was Vilma was all about Strong a few years back when I met him. As well as saying everyone on the committee basically had their ideal candidate, he didn't give a name, but looks like this goes right along with it, he must have been talking about Strong. If he's the guy, we better force him to find a better OC or we are screwed.

Would be the biggest disaster for PR in the school's history. You have a fan base that was out of it's MIND angry during Al Golden. And your answer to calm them down is to hire a guy who is going to lose 8 games in his second season at UT????
