Per Bobby Jackson CFP committee violates rules if...

i think everyone needs to relax, the committee has been pretty good to Miami this year so far. I feel everyone is in panic mode. We will probably be 7 on Tuesday and if we win Saturday we will be in.

No doubt. Worry about Clemson then worry about playoffs.
 
Can’t sweat this. Just find a way to win. We are essentially in the first round on Saturday night along with several others, including Clemson.
 
We just lost to Pitt... going into a game with the defending ACC/National Champs.
If we win it’s no question, but beating Clemson would be a massive upset in the eyes of the media

OU as 1 loss Big12 champ has nothing to worry about
Winner of Auburn-UGA is in

All this posturing will Be bn Alabama and * if * wins Big10.

Alabama getting in isn’t about the ACC. It’s about * as Big10 champs.
Wisconsin beats * and there is no discussion. Bama is OUT

This. We shot ourselves in the foot but we win were in and thats all we can do

Hopefully Rosier is Up for this clemson game

We can say that all we want but who knows. Committee can easily say we're not one of the 4 best teams and honestly we haven't been consistently at least. It still would be unjustifiable being a 1 loss ACC champ with a win over #1 Clemson and a great resume.

All rankings right now reflect human bias. Final.selection will be determined somewhat by bias regardless of what the rules may say. I would think if Canes beat Clemson they should be in but this is still subject somewhat to bias by the people selecting the final 4.

None of this matters. As it hasn’t weeks ago. If we are not acc champs, we’re out period.

Well of course, but those are factors they are suppose to consider. At the end of the day, it's who they believe are he 4 best teams. Ideally these would be 4 teams that have proven themselves based on the criteria outlined in the article.

You can’t randomly pick the four best teams. It is the four best teams based upon the stated criteria.

They’re not supposed to disregard the methodology and do whatever the **** they want.

Rules? What rules? The playoff selection committee has wide latitude and discretion to make its choices. What agency/organization has the authority to overrule their decisions?

Poor title from the Herald. Maybe should read if they appropriately weigh their standard factors. But, I agree, they can do whatever they want.
