They will all be at #3 Virginia Tech next year.

But they will have to have a coach in place by the time the portal opens or end up with portal leftovers. + Elite kids entering the portal want a shot at exposure, improving draft stock, and the playoffs .... very doubtful PSU will be able to offer any of those aspects in 2026. Going to literally be a rebuild. Their AD really screwed the pooch.

I anticipate a Mario like breaking down of the program to the stilts and a rebuild.

In the ACC, I’d say it takes Franklin 2 years to make them competitive and 4 years to be a consistent winner.

Seems like firing Franklin so early backfired big time. I bet they wish they fired him tomorrow instead. Losing an entire recruiting class will set them back years. This is worse than probation.

I have been thinking about this and I think 2 is the funniest possible number of signees.

1 is maybe more pathetic but somehow not as funny. I guess 0 would be REALLY funny but also not possible, there's always going to be a legacy or something that you can overpay if you're a big school. Something about 2 just makes me laugh.
