Penix

Still won’t give Michigan credit for getting a rhythm dart throwing qb out of rhythm. Dude was doing double step in his throws at times and the wide open miss he threw was on point. In every other game the wr is right in that spot closer to the sideline and he wasn’t this time. He threw his hand up surprised at how open he was and had to turn his whole torso….should have just kept running a bit towards the sideline. He did miss things with his eyes though and Michigan fooled him with some zone coverages that looked like man. They had the same coaches that got them to 14-0 and those same coaches won’t be able to do that without him cause joes over x and os…but let’s not talk about UM being more talented in the ternches ..stil till this day.

it seems like it was a poorly kept secret that he was going to leave after this year esp w moore handling most of the coaching duties in game this year with the 7 games harbaugh missed. hes a walking god either way being an alum who brought michigan back. moore will get hired away if they dont promote him and this is a -perfect time for harbaugh to find a job he prefers with LAC being open
Yep... I can see it.... Ball is in Jim's court... He can bounce it as he pleases....

before throwing a far hash out into double coverage that gets picked
Before anyone comes at me for some reason, calm down.

Bailey Zappe made the same throw.

In a snowstorm.

I'm broken.

He was far less than what he could be healthy and was hurting his team by playing. No one else think he should've been subbed for? In 1987 I was screaming at my TV for JJ to sub Geoff Toretta (Gino's brother) for Vinny as Vinny was off that day, last night I thought any backup would've been better then injured Penix. Was Penix their whole offense?

My main issue was that RT #73 was STRUGGLING and they kept leaving him out there alone while all the pressure came from that side.
WHAT?! From the jump the moment was too big for him. And it just cascaded. I know football is a team game but I don't think I've seen an O-Lineman have that big of an impact on a game negatively. That falls on the staff though. No chips, no TE help, he was a dumpster fire last night.

Jalen Milroe is mobile and they pressured him too.

Got nothing to do with mobility, Michigans D-Line is elite and Washingtons is overrated. LG getting pancaked into Penix lap and we're talking about Penix accuracy here lmao
Not gonna say Washington’s over rated. The game was there to be won and the O just never got clicking. For as bad as the played they were 2 holding balls away from it being tied and not a blow out

I personally think he was off last night & took a play out of TVD’s book.. overplay the aching pains. Could be wrong. Don’t think I am. Pressure 1 Penix 0 🚫💎
I knew once he started acting like he was hurt every play he was toast

I’m sure he was beat up, especially by the end of the game, but the limping around after you know you missed an easy play is a tale as old as time

It's possible guys feel the aches more with discouragement instead of raw adrenaline / determination.. but I always take it another way.

I was pulling for him, with his Florida Connection playing at Tampa Bay Tech. But it looked as if the stage was a little to big for him last night.

It also looked like Michigan knew what play was coming. Oh wait...

What happened to Washington’s vaulted OL?

It was supposed to be the number one unit in the nation-

They were dominated by Michigan’s DL they only rushed 4 they got enough pressure to force Penix into things he didn’t want to do-

Mason Graham on the interior was recking havoc despite being doubled team-

Michigan put on a clinic defensively.

How is Washington overrated? They don't have the same talent level across the field as those other top tier teams. They over achieved like TCU did last year.

According to 247, Washington ranked outside of the top 25 based on talent composite.

Based on your statement, you can say that Mario is overrated. BTW, Miami ranked 12th on the list.

hes tua. amazing when hes not pressured but struggles w his accuracy when there is pressure. hes got more arm talent than tua though for sure. hes also not mobile which hurt him yesterday as michigan was able to pressure him often

Yup. When pressured that accuracy went right out the window last night.
