Toney probably saved a pick. Safety was going to break on that ball, pretty much got there bang bang even with Toney turning to face him and block downfield.

Mauigoa threw the DE down when he twisted inside after initially getting stuffed trying to rush outside. Probably didn’t need to throw him down but that’s clear as day.

Now Bain getting held constantly is something I can get behind tenfold. And if you want to say the offense should get away with more given the current state of affairs regarding flags, then ok. But the offensive penalties are pretty clear as day, and all self-inflicted, laziness.

That last touchdown should’ve been called back on a holding car. Our D lineman got closed lined choked.

UM play by play been on it all game. The TV isn't showing the dbs for smu holding every play

Its not that each individual play in a vacuum doesnt deserve the benefit of the doubt. It's that every single time its a big play that matters and there's flags the penalties tend to be borderline and more importantly its an out of character call based on how the game has been officiated to that point.
 
The most damning part of all the penalty problem is that very few if any are dumb unsportsmanlike late hit types. It’s all pre snap crap
 
Pre snap penalties…. You know the count how do we have so many false starts… offsides in defense like blay being right over the center and the ball. Your are the second closest person to the ball how do you jump
