PEDs in Football

70s&80s remember the South Carolina trainer and several others got arrested in the 80s for using the steroids that were banned then.think a cane trainer was involved as well.
Yea... I was just implying that the stuff is still pretty prevalent.

I work with a Clemson booster who’s brother is on the S&C staff at Clemson. We were discussing the PED statement Dabo made. He flat out told me the director and assistants PURPOSELY give every single starter on offense and defenses and up to 2nd string , PEDs. To be specific - Dianabol, Trenbolon, Anadrol and testosterone in the spring workouts to gain nitrogen infusion and protein synthesis . They keep detailed schedules of each player’s cycle. They then “cruise” u til fall camp. This means they decrease the amount of anabolics being placed in the body and then once the season starts he said they switch to a “maintaining” program. He said that they make sure they have a high supply of HGH for injuries and such. He went on to say they HAD to do this in order to compete with “the Bamas of the world”. “They got pharmacy’s on speed dial” his words.

Two things went through my head. 1. Clemson and programs like them are pumping stupid money paying for the running of such programs because just taking 4-6 IUs of growth a day can cost anywhere from 500-700$ a month per player. And 2. AINT no freakin way the NCAA blowhards don’t know about this going on at their favorite schools. But everybody else has to play fair right? I freaking hate the fact that these guys ain’t even scared anymore. They do what they want when they want. I mean I’ve known the guy a while and he knows I’m a miami fan and he felt comfortable telling me all this.
And you know we don't do any of this how? Why is the assumption always that we are choir boys in this scenario

Sure looks like renfro’s body rejected everything except for maybe anavar. 8 years of juicing at Clemson and he looks like a wr from Belen. That’s a lot of juice. Not saying you’re lying, op. However, after being around a bunch of kids from coaching, it seems unlikely.

I coached kids that went to all the big programs and I’ve never heard of the strength staff recently (since I was coaching) giving out PEDs. ****, bama caught heat for giving some players deer antler extract, which you can pick up online or the vitamin shoppe for $50-$150. I’ve used it, and it doesn’t get you bigger or stronger. It’s not a prohoromone. Just helps with joint paint. Also, most of d1 kids that I coached wouldn’t even touch a protein shake in hs, much less creatine. They called it steroids lol.

I do know that at Ohio st their former strength coach was sponsored by a supplement company and would give them a stack of...protein, aminos, and I think creatine. That’s if they wanted to take it.

I do know a few players that have taken hgh/hgh peptides stacked with test. It was recommended by either a player that everyone knew was on it or they wanted to ball out for their last season in college. Never heard it recommended from
A coach. It’s a small amount of players who have taken it, relative to the total number that I’ve coached.
Clem$on's players tested positive for banned substances before their game with Baga. That's a fact. It's not conjecture. Whether it's systematic program-wide or isolated players doing it, they are juicing. That whole program needs to be investigated.
