I work with a Clemson booster who’s brother is on the S&C staff at Clemson. We were discussing the PED statement Dabo made. He flat out told me the director and assistants PURPOSELY give every single starter on offense and defenses and up to 2nd string , PEDs. To be specific - Dianabol, Trenbolon, Anadrol and testosterone in the spring workouts to gain nitrogen infusion and protein synthesis . They keep detailed schedules of each player’s cycle. They then “cruise” u til fall camp. This means they decrease the amount of anabolics being placed in the body and then once the season starts he said they switch to a “maintaining” program. He said that they make sure they have a high supply of HGH for injuries and such. He went on to say they HAD to do this in order to compete with “the Bamas of the world”. “They got pharmacy’s on speed dial” his words.

Two things went through my head. 1. Clemson and programs like them are pumping stupid money paying for the running of such programs because just taking 4-6 IUs of growth a day can cost anywhere from 500-700$ a month per player. And 2. AINT no freakin way the NCAA blowhards don’t know about this going on at their favorite schools. But everybody else has to play fair right? I freaking hate the fact that these guys ain’t even scared anymore. They do what they want when they want. I mean I’ve known the guy a while and he knows I’m a miami fan and he felt comfortable telling me all this.

Every program at the top levels are using PED's, SEC schools in particular take a look at Bama very year
check out physical differences in year 2 for UGA, man they were ripped. Watch UT this year as this will be second year for
staff implementing the program. check out LSU where Butch's guy Moffett runs the S&C group.
first person Urban thanked for staying with the Buckeyes after he retired was the S &C coach.
reminds me of what Junior Johnson a Nascar driver once said "if you ain't cheating you ain't trying to win"
if you think we can whip the top schools w/o the juice I have a bridge in Brooklyn i want to sell on the cheap

Could this be why their players don't do as well once they get to the league where there is stricter rules for this stuff?

Don't doubt that kids individually do **** & may get advice from strength/conditioning types, but programs would be crazy to have in place a system-wide program. Stuff you're describing is out of the old East Germany playbook & would be detectable in the system for months.

Yeah, when we think of performance enhancing drugs - it's typically steroid related. Unfortunately, everything has a price - and that price is to be paid in full - either up front, as you go, or on the tail-end.

There are more natural performance enhancing compounds that originate from nature - and I know of one that will give some top athletes at least a 10% increase in endurance, and at least that much again in strength - and no steroids, no dangerous drugs. It works at the mitochondrial level - just improving cellular efficiency.

But the SEC big boys - don't give a tinkers's dam about the long-term side effects of steroids.

Yeah, and the 3rd string guys are selected 'randomly' for drug testing compliance.

NCAA needs to tell the schools who test. Schools should not be able to police themselves. In the Olympics, there is a seperate international testing agency.

I bet that Cuck Emmert would volunteer to take samples from randomly chosen athletes.

Even at the Olympic and highest levels of sport, out-smarting or beating the testers isn't the hardest thing to do. MLB pops a number of players annually, though the largest % are unsophisticated, minor league kids from the DR and Venz. The NFL nabs a handful a year. And the NBA busts someone as often as LBJ gets called for an offensive foul, which is almost never. The sports federations, colleges and pro leagues don't want a crazy number of positive tests - it's bad for business.

Sure looks like renfro’s body rejected everything except for maybe anavar. 8 years of juicing at Clemson and he looks like a wr from Belen. That’s a lot of juice. Not saying you’re lying, op. However, after being around a bunch of kids from coaching, it seems unlikely.

I coached kids that went to all the big programs and I’ve never heard of the strength staff recently (since I was coaching) giving out PEDs. ****, bama caught heat for giving some players deer antler extract, which you can pick up online or the vitamin shoppe for $50-$150. I’ve used it, and it doesn’t get you bigger or stronger. It’s not a prohoromone. Just helps with joint paint. Also, most of d1 kids that I coached wouldn’t even touch a protein shake in hs, much less creatine. They called it steroids lol.

I do know that at Ohio st their former strength coach was sponsored by a supplement company and would give them a stack of...protein, aminos, and I think creatine. That’s if they wanted to take it.

I do know a few players that have taken hgh/hgh peptides stacked with test. It was recommended by either a player that everyone knew was on it or they wanted to ball out for their last season in college. Never heard it recommended from
A coach. It’s a small amount of players who have taken it, relative to the total number that I’ve coached.

Consider this:

Caffeine is considered a banned substance by the NCAA. Tons of OTC products are as well.

Yet literally no one gets in trouble.

I don’t know how Clemson got busted but it had to have been a completely asanine lack of attention to detail
