Though the stories .pdf contract extension link appears to show the extension through 2022-2023, the article states this the final year of the Nike's contract with Free Shoes, barring an extension. Willie T sure seemed to rub Nike U and their owner, Phil Knight wrong in the way he snubbed them.

Does Nike say bye to the Criminoles? Is Adidas smart enough NOT to come calling given the UM deal? Under Armour and Chapter 11 may be getting aquatinted soon enough, so they are probably out...

Looks like GT may be having a Russell Athletic partner in the ACC!

Interesting. I doubt Phil Knight acts this overtly vindictive but at 80 years old he should. FSU gear made by Big Baller Brand would be sweeeeet.
 
Nike lost interest in the NCAA the minute they took the NFL contract.

That's why they're moving everyone onto Jordan.

First of all, Nike is a business and won’t decline business from FSU because of ego. Secondly, GT is joining Adidas next season.

It will be great when Nike dumps F$U, and then adidas doesn't sign them because of the FBI investigation.
