ehhh. I mean bama has paid mercenaries on their staff and roster as well and theyre thriving lol. they turn their staff year over year. coaching matters bc kids dont develop and game plan. coaches develop the raw talent and game plan for opponents. its always both equally

That's why I said "a couple"...I don't believe they (A&M) had consecutive top 5 classes for a 2+ year period.

....now I have to go fact check and make sure they didn't have 2-3 Top consecutive top 5 classes lol....

Not to refute that coaching matters because it does...A&M shouldn't have gone 5-7 or 4-8 or whatever record they had..shouldn't have been bowl ineligible.
