Patience. No way Baffoon Golden beats Clemson, UNC, and Pitt

All we need is one more conference loss and it's a wrap for Golden, and it's a given they'll drop a couple more, although it's anyone's guess who. With Pitt and Duke having butter-soft schedules, I think the winner of Coastal will have no more than 2 conference losses.

There can be no in between. Either we finish 6-6 or worse and Golden is fired, or we finish 10-2 and win the coastal and play in the ACCCG. In the first scenario Golden is gone right after the last game and in the second scenario most of us are (happily?) eating crow.

To be honest, we could out talent all of our opponents (including Clemson), so I would not say that finishing 10-2 is impossible. In particular, we will have the best QB in every game, so that means we should have a shot at winning every remaining game. This in no way should indicate that we should keep Golden.

If we finish 10-2 Golden leaves for another job and if we finish 6-6 or worse Golden gets fired. Anything in between is bad.

Willing to bet a nice lump that Golden will be back next year regardless of record. Any takers?

Glad we won ....but come on - their QB dropped the ball at the 5 yard line and 2 of the interceptions were some of the ugliest passes I have ever seen ..... this doesnt happen in the next 3 to 4 weeks

8-4 he most likely keeps his job, 7-5 he most likely does not. He needs to win 4 of the next 6. He loses next week, he's got to win 4 of 5. I'd say the odds are against him. What worries me is we have a lot of talented football players.

If he wins the Coastal they will absolutely keep him. God forbid any other team be good in the division. All these programs are trolling us right now.
