Pate absolutely on fire

I appreciate Pate saying this, but one thing I've noticed about him starting back in August - he's not great at guessing who's going to win crucial games. He's been wrong about a lot and when he said ND would beat us now, he's wrong again and I'm not wearing orange and green goggles. If it was ND playing us before Mario finally allowed Dawson to really call the offense, I would agree, but I like our team now against anyone including the OSU*s.

I’ll be pulling for Texas Tech this week like I was pulling for the Canes cause I want the Canes next to Notre Dump and then let the committee leave them out and wait for the explosion if Miami gets left out.

Also I wish Mario would quit losing these couple games every year so we aren’t having to fight this battle every December

I think we get in, I don't know how exactly, but I refuse to give up until it's absolutely final.
If we get to 11 & ND stays at 10 I think we get in. Could the committee be setting us up for a rug pull? Absolutely. I just don’t see them ****ing in the face of the sport by ignoring H2H. That’s just my opinion.

Trumpycane doesn’t see how TT doesn’t win this weekend

In their last game it took BYU until the 4Q to even get past the the 50

It was very similar to our game against NC State

The real problem Miami has is Alabama is likely not going to win that game and they're likely to lose by a couple scores. They'll be #10 and Notre Dame will move back to #9. And that'll be the end.

When you go back and look at the season, it's incredible how things broke for Miami:

Alabama
UGA - Bama up 3, Georgia goes for it on 4th down at the Bama 8 and doesn't get it. Then they get the ball to midfield and punt with 3:00 left
Missouri - Down 3 late in the 4th, Missouri has the ball at midfield and throws an INT
USCe - Tie game late in the 4th, Sellers fumbles the ball, Bama scores and wins
Auburn - Down 7 late in the 4th and deep in Bama territory, Auburn fumbles
Oklahoma - Bama turns the ball over 3 times and gives Oklahoma the win they need to stay in the playoffs

Oklahoma
Auburn - Run an illegal play and get a TD to win by 7
LSU - Down 3 points to LSU, hit a wide open crossing route to go up 4. Auburn turns the ball over on downs almost in the red zone

Miami
SMU - I don't know, pick one of the 12 things that if they just went the other way Miami wins

Duke
Duke somehow beats Wake
Duke down 7 to Clemson drives and beats them on a 2-pt conversion
Duke is losing to UNC and pulls ahead with 2 minutes left
Duke wins the tiebreaker based on conference opponent win percentage

UVA
UVA loses to NC State in a non-conference game
UVA beats UNC when UNC goes for two to win the game in OT and is literally an inch from converting it
UVA beats FSU in OT

Any of those things are different and Miami is in.

no chance in **** the committee drops bama out all together no matter how badly they lose so a blowout loss would be worse case for us IMO

TrumpyCane wants to know why people think Bama isn't going to win? UGA just struggled on offense against a bad GT team and UGA's biggest weakness is Bama's strength, yes Bama has looked like crap recently but UGA hasn't looked like a world beater

Kirby has beaten them once since he got there, Bama is his daddy

every single year when we need things to go our way, they do...we just end up crapping the bed on the last game so we ***** ourselves.

this year, we take care of business and we need just ONE out of dozens of things to happen, and literally none of them do. It's truly unfathomable.

It's kind of impressive, actually, how we don't get one single break...yet!
