Pat Narduzzi is competent in a middling resources and recruiting program. He has earned the patience through both measurables and intangibles.

Manuela is incompetent in a middling resources and recruiting program. He has earned 4th and 17, loss to a school who didn't have the forward pass as part of their playbook, loss to FIU, 4th and 14, etc... etc... etc...

I obviously disagree with OP, but at least @fraggle is willing to die on his hill…all alone…in the bitter cold…with a boner for Mandy.

Too many posters on this site are sheep instead of wolves. It’s part of the reason why the BoT and Admin keep rammin’ it up the fan base’s *** without KY, and a nice helping of sand for good measure.

If this **** show was going on at Baga, Clemson, Taint, etc., the fan base would be coming after them with pitchforks and torches. Our fan base writes respectful and cuddly letters asking these evil, entitled elitists to “please do the right thing”.

I'll humor this and just say this will be Pitt's pinnacle for many years. They're not replacing Pickett anytime soon. If our ceiling was one 10 win season every decade that wouldn't be acceptable.
 
Y'all do realize that Pitt signs leftovers, right?
They're not getting the same caliber of athlete that Miami is accustomed to recruiting. I know because I have several kids at Pitt, none of which had offers from the "Big 3". Pitt is a complete afterthought to most elite kids.
They're not SUPPOSED to beat Miami.
They do more with less. Pat would do much better here than Manny has.

Look at what the product has been for the past 3 years. A complete lack of discipline and accountability. Those are foundational issues that can't simply be corrected in the middle of the season when your job is on the line. It's one thing if the team had established discipline and shown accountability when losing. Losing is just a symptom. Diaz has won 58% of his games and 56% against P5 teams.

2019: 6-7 : P5 : 5-5 : Loss to FIU 30-24
2020: 8-3 : P5 : 7-3 : Thrashed by UNC 62-26
2021: 7-5: p5: 5-5 : Losses to MSU and FSU

Diaz is 21-15 overall with no signature wins and no bowl wins.

TVD playing at an elite level has helped the team to a 7-5 season. If he just played average, this team is 5-7 or 4-8.

There are no free passes. Stop being delusional. Change is overdue.
 
@fraggle was at least non confrontational in his beliefs, no matter what the actual objective of said beliefs happened to be. I completely disagree with his delusions. I also disagree with @RVACane banning him just because the group didn’t agree with his message. One of the main reasons he has always been one of my least favorite mods. He thinks it’s cool to ban people. @Andrew, people shouldn’t be banned for this ****. It’s a forum to discuss exactly these topics. Too much **** group think.
