Is this really allowed under church and state separation as long as the University of Miami accepts federal money?

Considering its a private school, pretty sure they can do whatever they want. And it was a gift like pointed out, as long as he doesnt force it down there throats it would be fine at a public school as well.

58-7 Please go read the 1st Amendment. There is no separation of church and state in it. There is the Establishment Clause. The Founding Fathers would have restarted the rebellion immediately had anyone told them they were not allowed to pray anywhere any time.

This will never be a problem because it'd take a player to make it a problem and football on the college level especially (despite any random kneeling, etc) is still a very socially conservative place. Not to mention that I'm 1000% sure that Rick would never show professional preference in relation to players based on anything religious. We need not ever forget that "Go Run Some Steps" Bowden is the man that brought JC into Rick's life too.

I love it when clueless trolls lawyer-up on here, and show their ****** tendencies by bītchīng about Rick violating the separation of church and state, or other nonsense.

Hey, 58-7, go sue Rick and the school, if you're that concerned about it

I appreciate the fact that CMR is a man of faith, but I hope CMR loses his religion every Saturday and sodomizes our opponents.

Sodomy is right out, it smiting on the other hand...

Exodus 3:20
And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Georgia Tech with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof.

Barry says Stacy Coley is on a 13-touchdown pace. Looks like basic arithmatic is not Barry's thing.

58-7,

Please petition for a Writ of Mandamus.

The irony is that the biggest advocates for the separation of church and state used to be Protestants due to anti Catholic sentiment. Protestants (in an unusual alliance with Jews) were strongly against the government providing any federal aid to private religious schools because private schools were predominantly Catholic prior to the 1970s. Oh protestants, is there anything they don't hate? Anyways I'm not a man of any faith but I don't care if Pastor Richt hands out copies of the Necronomicon and sacrifices chickens so long as he wins us another championship.

No wonder AQM got the boot.

Haha. I don't know (or care) what AQM's religion is but sometimes names alone are misleading. Antwaan Randle El for example was a devout Christian. Paul Finebaum too has a ****** surname but is routinely seen mingling with KKK members.

Call me crazy but I'm going to guess a guy named Al-Quadin Muhammad is not a holy trinity type of guy.
