Parrish to the portal

Parrish was not our best back and certainly not easily our best back. Truth is he’s pretty average. Decent at everything, special at nothing

In the best case scenario you find an equal talent in the portal. More likely, it's a big drop off. Losing him is not a good thing unless there's young guys who are ready to ball out.

Incredibly average RB. Citizen coming on + young RB + portal RB likely being added meant he likely wouldn’t have seen many snaps
Incredibly average with a 6.25 YPC which was a full yard better than every other RB and 2nd in the ACC. He’s not perfect but calling him that is beyond stupid.

Ya’ll are saying “yeah just get a portal guy” like it’s just a sure thing we can find a top back in there. It will more than likely be another JAG ala Allen. Parrish was easily our best back in a very thin room. We don’t know anything about Citizen and we won’t know ish about Fletcher either with the way this school operates with injuries.

Gotta hope we are tampering like a MF

Thanks for his contributions and good luck to Parrish going forward, but he's in no way a No. 1 guy at the University of Miami if the current and previous RB recruiters are doing their jobs

Literally led the conference in yards per carry.

Tough to find a dumber collection of people than you can on this site.
Agreed. I think Parrish’s biggest problem is that he runs like he’s 225. If he protected himself more he would’ve had 1000 last year. He’s not perfect but he’s the best back on our roster. Or at least was.
Also, where is this magical portal back coming from? Better be some tampering going on.

Parrish averaged over 6 yards per carry last year (over a full yard better than anyone else on the team outside of CJJr who had 6.6 on 11 carries) and led the team in rushing touchdowns.

He's not the biggest or fastest and not the most skilled back, but productive. You can only hope the guys we have on the roster right now can out produce him. They haven't been able to so far, unfortunately.

Hence why DMoney says we will be after a RB heavy
Yep Reaction GIF

Also ran behind the best OL in the conference. His best games were against BC, Miami of Ohio and Temple. Complete no-show in conference games otherwise.
Wrong. The OL was a disaster all around in the GT game which was his worst. He had 75 yds 5.6 YPC the next week against UNC and got hurt. He only carried the ball 6 times the next 5 games because of the injury. Don’t let the facts get in the way bud

I just never saw it with him. Really good complimentary back but availability was always a thing with him

Did the other backs on the team not play against those teams? Were they Barry Sanders against conference teams? You’re making an incredibly moronic and uninformed argument. He’s a good player. He’s not a Doak Walker winner. But he’s good.
