True but Parrish made some long runs that would’ve been short gains for a lot of guys. That vision and jump cuts made bigger holes.
Truly high-end elite at nothing (except maybe his "feel" for the position, but that's more of a nuance than a true measurable attribute), but truly VERY good at literally every single aspect of playing the position. Everything. I've said it since he was in HS and I said it for months after it looked like we'd land him and did land him. People on this board who said he sucked or would be the 5th best back here are ******* high. This kid is just a really, really good football player and he's going to have a great year.
Good enough speed, very quick, decisive, excellent vision, patient, great hands, good feel for the passing game, doesn't fumble, excellent pass blocker, tough, understands angles, acceleration is above average.....he's got everything you want.
If he was an inch or two taller and 15 pounds heavier with a touch more straight line speed, he'd be all over the NFL's radar. He's just slightly undersized and a tick slower than you'd ideally love in the open field. But for a college back, he is VERY productive. Slippery, quick, decisive, everything you need to be really good at this level and his versatility opens even more doors for him. Such a huge pickup for us. Imagine if we didn't get him and Chaney and Citizen went down when they did?
